We’re looking for an experienced Damp Surveyor to join our growing, family-run team in 2026.

Procure Damp Proofing Group is an independent business built on straight talking, proper diagnosis, and doing the job right — not pushing treatments that aren’t needed. As we continue to grow across Bedfordshire and surrounding areas, we want someone who shares that mindset.

This role is ideal for a surveyor who takes pride in their work, enjoys dealing with people, and wants to be part of a business where quality and reputation genuinely matter.

The Role

You’ll be carrying out professional damp surveys on residential and commercial properties, diagnosing issues such as rising damp, penetrating damp, condensation, mould, and timber defects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed internal and external damp surveys

• Accurately diagnosing the cause of damp, condensation, mould, and timber issues

• Explaining findings clearly to clients in plain English

• Producing clear, honest survey reports and recommendations

• Working closely with our office team to ensure a smooth client journey

We focus on diagnosis first — not selling for the sake of it.

What We’re Looking For

We’re less interested in flashy titles and more interested in the right attitude.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience carrying out damp and/or building surveys

• Strong knowledge of rising damp, condensation, penetrating damp, and mould

• A calm, professional, and friendly manner with clients

• The confidence to recommend no works where appropriate

• A full UK driving licence

CSRT / CSTDB or similar qualifications are beneficial, but not essential for the right person.
